The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) has announced the appointment of Jen Douglas, an APRN at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, to its board of directors.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Jen Douglas to CPC’s board,” said Doug Staley, Executive Director of CPC. “Jen is joining CPC at a crucial point in time as we continue the prevention, intervention, and treatment of child abuse while navigating through the unforeseen difficulties of the current environment. Her years in the healthcare industry, including child abuse cases at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, have equipped her with a unique perspective and expertise that will greatly benefit our mission. Her knowledge complements the skills and experience of our board, and we are very grateful that she’s chosen CPC and to continue her remarkable dedication to the children in our community.”

Jen echoes this enthusiasm saying, “The mission of CPC and the impact it has on children is something my family and I are proud to support. I am looking forward to working with the board and our generous philanthropic community to meet the needs of children and families impacted by child abuse.”
