Mayu Fielding, Board President of the Manatee Literacy Council (MLC), recently announced the appointment of Michelle Desveaux McLean as the organization’s new Executive Director. “As I look to the future of the Manatee Literacy Council and how we can grow to meet the needs of our neighbors, I do so through the lens of that shared vision” she stated. Michelle is looking forward to meeting MLC’s donors, volunteers, community partners, and neighbors. She and The Board of Directors are planning some exciting virtual events, so be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks.
