The Child Protection Center, Inc. (CPC) recently received a $10,000 grant through the generosity of the Wilson-Wood Foundation to support CPC’s Children and Families Supervised Visitation Program (CFSVP). The funding from this grant aids CPC in meeting the growing demand for CFSVP, which has seen a 41% increase in services from April through July, with a state record for the number of supervised visitations in April. At the onset of the pandemic, the program adapted to virtual outlets for the safety of the children, caregivers, staff, and volunteers, and the positive response has opened the door to the option for virtual accommodations in addition to traditional visits in the future.
