Rotary Club of Longboat Key Fundraising for Local Veteran Non-Profits

The Giving Coast

With an eye towards Veterans Day, the Rotary Club of Longboat Key is partnering with three local non-profits to support veterans and their families in need through a fund-raising campaign. The Rotary’s target is $40,000 with a member already pledging $10,000 if it can be matched. The Rotary Club invites you to support our veterans.  Donations can be made via the Rotary’s website at http://longboatkeyrotary.org/ or with checks made out and sent to Rotary LBK Charitable Fund, P.O. Box 8351, Longboat Key, FL 34228.  The Rotary Club also plans to host its 7th annual recognition of veterans.  This year’s event will be an outdoor “pandemic sensitive” ceremony on Veterans Day, November 11th, at 11:00am at the east end of Bay Isles Road with music, veterans and well-wishers.
