Doctors Hospital of Sarasota is expanding its robotic surgery capabilities again, by adding another surgical robot to its fleet. A new da Vinci Xi robot will arrive at the hospital this Thursday morning. This robotic system is the first of its kind in the area because it has two consoles. Surgeons use one console to operate on a patient and a surgeon-in-training can learn and observe using the second console. Doctors Hospital is proud to have the most comprehensive robotic surgery capabilities in the area.
