Jane Grogg has been named as the director of Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT), after serving in the role in an interim capacity since January. According to Sarasota County Administrator Jonathan Lewis, Grogg's experience, planning background and long-time dedication to public service made her the ideal choice to lead SCAT. "Jane is the perfect fit to guide our transit system," Lewis said. "She has proven to be a collaborative, thoughtful and strategic presence while serving as the interim director, and proved herself as a leader."
