In September 2020 The Twig was gifted an initial $200,000 grant from The Charles and Margery Barancik Foundation. An additional $50,000 matching grant has also been offered by the Barancik foundation.
The Twig is excited to announce they are opening a second location in the Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton area by summer of 2021. This location will enable the non-profit based in Venice to expand their reach of blessing the lives of children in foster care. Conveniently located on SR64 just east of 75 this location will be easily accessible for the many foster families located throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties.
