JFCS Thanks Volunteers with Drive-by Celebration

The Giving Coast

JFCS of the Suncoast recognized its corps of more than 800 volunteers for their service during 2019 with a unique “drive-by” celebration on Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. The organization’s staff and Board of Directors distributed gifts, handed out awards, and treated attendees to made-to-order Polpos’ Pizza. “Our volunteers are the heartbeat of JFCS,” says Arthur Lerman, JFCS Interim President/CEO. “This selfless group magnifies our ability to achieve our mission by taking on a host of important tasks. JFCS would not be able to accomplish nearly as much without them."
