The North Port Art Center has earned a North Port Spirit Award in recognition of its sustained efforts to promote art education in our community. Randy Moore, the publisher of South County Healthy Living and Englewood Healthy Living made the announcement today. “The North Port Art Center is a respected champion of art education,” Moore said. “Their fun classes, workshops, and special programs enrich our community. In supporting artistic expression, the nonprofit enhances a sense of wellness for many area adults and children.”
