This year the theme of WSLR+Fogartyville’s Fall Membership Drive is ‘Listen Local’ and every locally-produced program will be featuring local musicians or interviews with local people, highlighting the places that make our community unique.  As a non-commercial station, WSLR depends on listener-support to fund its operations.  Twice a year, volunteers and staff take to the airwaves to ask directly for community members to step up and support WSLR+Fogartyville.  This year’s Fall Membership Drive starts on Thursday, November 12 and runs through Wednesday, November 18.  WSLR+Fogartyville is hoping to raise $40,000 to help fund their operating costs for the next six months.
