Last month, the Sarasota City Commission voted to create a new botanical garden zone district - the first step that will enable Selby Gardens' Compromise Master Plan for our Downtown Sarasota campus. The second step in this process will take place Monday, January 4 at 6pm when the City Commissioners will hold the second reading on the Zoning Text Amendment and the first hearings on the site plan, rezone, and easement vacation.  If you wish to speak virtually please email the clerk@sarasotaFL.gov no later than 5pm.
