Sarasota County Centennial Launches Partnership Program for Year Long Celebration

Government

As of January 2021, Sarasota County Centennial 2021 is launching a yearlong celebration in recognition of the county’s founding on July 1, 1921. Established as a cultural and historical event for the region, the Centennial celebration will feature a multitude of public, virtual, and entertainment activities to highlight the unique spirit and achievements of the area. Central to the celebration will be a Partnership Program. Participating organizations will enjoy publicity, branding opportunities, and community goodwill as they join in celebration of our county. There is no cost to become a Partner. The Centennial organization also maintains a lecture bureau for groups wishing to learn more about the county’s historical roots as well as how to be part of the Centennial celebration.
