Sarasota County Area Transit Driver Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Florida Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed a positive test result of COVID-19 for a Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) driver on Saturday, January 9th. In consultation with DOH-Sarasota, SCAT has identified the following operational dates and routes served by the affected driver: Route 14, 2:15-7:03pm Tuesday and Wednesday, January 5-6 and route 12, 1:45-9:10pm Thursday, January 7.
