    Sarasota-based Purmort & Martin Insurance Agency, one of the area’s oldest and largest locally owned insurance agencies, recently acquired Jeff DeJongh and Associates to further expand its presence in the region. “We look forward to having Jeff and his team join us,” said Russ Bobbitt, president and CEO of Purmort & Martin Insurance Agency and a licensed Florida agent since 1996. “He has been a friend of our firm for many years and welcoming him aboard was a natural fit for us.”
