First Tee - Sarasota/Manatee (FTSM), a youth development organization empowering kids to build their strength of character through the game of golf, announces open registration for PGA Jr. League, age (8 – 13). Registration to play continues now through Monday, March 1 at 5:00p. Kids can play with friends and learn the game with expert coaching in a fun atmosphere with friendly competition. Andy Mears, League Director and Development Director for First Tee – Sarasota/Manatee says, “PGA Jr. League is ideal for kids that enjoy team sports. We’re much like a youth baseball or soccer league. Players receive uniforms, team name, and jersey number…and have a great opportunity to play wonderful golf courses in the area.” Mears added, “It’s a can’t miss opportunity for families during these COVID times.”
