Compass by Margaritaville, Anna Maria Sound Makes Donation to Local Turtle Watch Charity

The Compass by Margaritaville, Anna Maria Sound, is making a sizable contribution to the Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch and Shorebird Monitoring following their successful ‘Tis the SeaSon promotion, which concluded January 31. “This past year has been a financial challenge for all nonprofits, so the Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch board was thrilled about the gracious offer of this donation,” said Suzi Fox, director, Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch. “Due to the pandemic, last year a skeleton crew of volunteers shepherded thousands of sea turtle hatchlings to the sea. It was a huge task, and with the pandemic still impacting rescue efforts, the donation from Compass by Margaritaville is vital.”
