Sarasota Memorial Hospital Offers Experimental Treatment for Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Sarasota Memorial is one of just two hospitals in Florida enrolling pancreatic cancer patients in a Phase III clinical trial to extend survival and improve quality of life.  Patients receive eight treatments at two week intervals of a unique drug-device combination called RenovoGem. SMH surgical oncologist Kenneth Meredith, MD, and cancer patient Vince Scully from Bradenton discussed an experimental treatment for pancreatic cancer being offered at SMH in the video linked.
