Sarasota County Area Transit Driver Tests Positive for COVID-19

The Florida Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed a positive COVID-19 test result for a Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) driver on Friday, April 23. In consultation with DOH-Sarasota, SCAT has identified the following routes that were operated by the affected driver:

  • Saturday, April 17 – Route 40, 5:48am to 9:35am.
  • Sunday, April 18 – Route 1713, 5:53am  to 12:40pm.
  • Monday, April 19 and Tuesday April 20 – Route 99, 5:45-10:45am and a single trip on Route 7 starting at 5:10am.
