Join the volunteer team Turning Points for a great experience, meet new friends, and for the chance to make an important and positive impact in our community. At Turning Points, our vision is to live in a community where everyone has an opportunity to have a home. We provide, coordinate, and facilitate services to prevent and reduce homelessness in Manatee County. These services can only be completed with the compassionate work of our volunteers.  Volunteers are needed in several areas. The hours that are covered are up to the volunteers. Volunteers can come in a few hours a day or a few hours a week. A comprehensive tour is given to each interested volunteer and the positions that the volunteer is interested in, is fully discussed with the Volunteer Coordinator, Cheryl Hedger. Cheryl said, “Our volunteers are the backbone of our organization. Only because of their dedication and service, we are able to provide these important services in our community."

Interested volunteers should contact Cheryl Hedger at 941-747-1509 x 308 or chedger@tpmanatee.org.
