All Faiths Food Bank recently supplied Safe Children Coalition with 100 BackPacks filled with healthy food and nutritious snacks for children in the state care system, to be distributed through Safe Children Coalition (SCC) Emergency Response and Assessment Team counselors and intervention programs. These SCC programs work with families that have current or recent Child Protective Services/Department of Children and Families investigations in order to connect them to community supports, with the ultimate goal of children being able to remain safely in their homes.
