Grapevine Communications won gold and silver Angel Awards at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) District 4 award ceremony held Saturday at the Westin in downtown Sarasota. AAF District 4 encompasses all chapters in the state of Florida and the Caribbean.  The full-service Sarasota-based advertising, marketing, and public relations agency won a gold Angel for its design of the Van Wezel Foundation’s “The Future is Now” capital campaign website. Grapevine also took silver in the social media category for The Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center’s Annual Appeal and Branding Campaign. “We are so proud to receive the awards for our work on behalf of the Van Wezel Foundation and Glasser/Schoenbaum,” said Allison Imre, owner and president of Grapevine Communications. “It’s especially gratifying to collaborate with two community gems that make such a positive impact.”  The Angel Award Competition honors the very best in public service advertising. It combines two missions of AAF: to utilize industry expertise to address community issues and to celebrate and honor advertising excellence.
