Sarasota construction management firm, Firmo Construction, has been hired to build a Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Alpharetta, a city within the Atlanta metropolitan area. A joint venture between Hawkeye Hotels Inc., and Savannah-based hospitality management and development group, HOS Management, the Firmo Construction and HOS teams celebrated the start of the construction process for the new hotel with a groundbreaking ceremony the morning of November 10.

“We’re excited to commence our third project in partnership with the HOS Management team, as well as commemorate our first step toward national growth as a company by celebrating our first project awarded outside of Florida,” said Eric Collin, President of Firmo Construction. “With the relationships and partnerships we’ve already established in Georgia, our team is ready to bring our expertise in hospitality construction to this new tourism opportunity.”

Bringing decades of experience with the Marriott brand and the hospitality industry, Firmo and HOS Management, in partnership with Elevate Architecture Studio, will deliver this Marriott model just a few minutes away from downtown Alpharetta. At a little over 78,000 square feet, the structure will be situated on a six-acre lot.
