The Van Wezel is thrilled to welcome David Foster and special guests on Monday December 6at 8 p.m. for An Intimate Evening with David Foster – THE HITMAN TOUR. Foster’s wife, Katharine McPhee will be a special guest for the performance. McPhee is an accomplished actress and singer and first burst onto the scene during a storied run on Season 5 of American Idol where she finished in second place. Other special guests include breathtaking tenor Fernando Varela, Pia Toscano, and vocal powerhouse Sheléa. The voice of Fernando Varela is one that the press constantly compares as one of the world’s greatest. Fernando’s powerful voice tells the tale of a breathtaking tenor whose spirit and determination has defied the odds. Pia Toscano made a name for herself as a vocalist with a rich, emotionally transparent voice and was widely considered one of American Idol’s Season 10 frontrunners due to her powerhouse vocal ability and undeniable beauty. Sheléa has traveled internationally as a featured vocalist in “An Intimate Evening with David Foster” singing selections made famous by Natalie Cole (“Unforgettable”), Chaka Khan (“Through the Fire”), and Whitney Houston (songs from “The Bodyguard” motion picture soundtrack) just to name a few.
