YMCA Early Learning Academies

BrandStory

At the Y, we welcome all children and their families, because our communities are stronger when everyone can take part in equitable programs where they can learn, grow and thrive.  As part of YMCA of Southwest Florida’s Strategic Initiatives, our Y is dedicated to ensuring that early learning programs are available to every child in our communities. We believe if young children are given the resources that build the skills needed to prepare for kindergarten and beyond, they can achieve their full potential.

While parents and caregivers are at work, YMCA of Southwest Florida provides quality, affordable childcare to over 700 children annually, giving them a safe and enriching start to learning.  Our curriculum allows YMCA Early Learning Professionals to best support children through an individualized approach that meets each child’s personal needs allowing early learners to be empowered to develop at their own pace. The values and skills learned early are vital building blocks for life and essential to laying the foundation for a successful future.

As a cause-driven organization, the Y never turns anyone away for inability to pay.  When you support the Y, you give children a chance at a brighter future and build vibrant communities right where you live by ensuring every child has access to early learning programs.
