JFCS of the Suncoast Receives National Reaccreditation

Business

JFCS of the Suncoast has been reaccredited by the Council on Accreditation after a thorough assessment confirmed the organization offers high-quality services, has efficient procedures, and follows the industry’s best practices. JFCS, one of the Florida Suncoast’s preeminent mental health counseling and human services providers, has been an accredited non-profit for more than 20 years. The agency has been reaccredited through Aug. 31, 2025. The Council on Accreditation (COA), based in New York, accredits organizations around the country and beyond that provide child welfare, behavioral health, and community-based human and social services. Non-profits can voluntarily seek and work toward accreditation every four years to achieve external validation for the quality of services they provide. The accreditation process provides a framework for organizations to continuously improve and offer evidence-based practices that support clients and the community.
