Child Protection Center Awarded Grant for Increased Intervention Services

The Giving Coast

The Child Protection Center, Inc (CPC) was selected by the J. Milton & Nellie E. Hoffa Memorial Foundation to receive a $5,000 grant. This funding was awarded to support the increased need of intervention services for their state mandated Child Protection Team. CPC’s Child Protection Team (CPT) is a legislatively mandated program working in partnership with Child Protective Investigators (CPIs) of the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF), and local law enforcement agencies to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect. This team of individuals is often the very first point of contact for a child who has experienced the trauma of abuse. Rising above and beyond the obstacles every day, the directors and staff at The Child Protection Center continue to work tirelessly to meet the needs of victims and their families in our community, and to protect their overall safety, health, and wellbeing.
