Junior League Tour of Homes Celebrates Local Architecture

Things To Do

The Junior League of Sarasota presents its reimagined Tour of Homes on Saturday, April 30th at the landmark Sarasota Art Museum on the Ringling College Museum Campus. This unique experience celebrates the modernism, flair, and legacy of Sarasota architecture through the ages. Guests will be immersed in the history of Sarasota with a one-of-a-kind virtual tour of prominent and iconic Sarasota homes, including the Zig Zag house, Indian Shores estates, and the Lido Shores home of Adrienne Vittadini. In the Thomas McGuire Hall, attendees will enjoy live entertainment, demonstrations and pop-up shops from local artists, boutiques, and designers.

Panel discussions will take place in the Auditorium at 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM, featuring local architects, designers, builders, and realtors discussing architecture, trends, and much more! Among the expert panelists are interior designers Jennifer Masters and Autum Hanson, architect Hannah Boehmer, and Jamie Vrinios, CEO of Keller Williams on the Water. Back by popular demand, renowned local historian John McCarthy will narrate a VIP Trolley Tour that showcases historical and architecturally significant Sarasota homes and buildings. Departing at 11:30 AM, VIP ticket holders will enjoy a personal charcuterie tray and chilled prosecco on the trolley, along with a gift bag, admission to the Sarasota Art Museum, and entry to the Tour of Homes Happy Hour. VIP guests will arrive back at the Sarasota Art Museum in time for the afternoon discussions. Event tickets are $35 until April 15 and $40 after, with VIP tickets at $125 and Happy Hour at $20
