Monica Yadav, APR, CPRC, has earned her professional credentials as a Certified Public Relations Counselor from the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). In receiving the designation of Counselor, Yadav joins an elite group of public relations professionals statewide who have proven their ability to counsel during a variety of public relations scenarios, including crisis communications, while exhibiting high levels of public relations practices and exemplary ethical standards. Yadav is the director of communications and community engagement at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital, where she oversees external communications, media relations, social media and events for the hospital. Before working in healthcare, she was the manager of external relations for a large home services company and was responsible for media relations, media training and crisis communications for franchise owners across the country.

Yadav started her professional career as a TV news anchor and reporter and worked for 15 years at network affiliates in Arizona, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Florida. She is originally from Orlando and is a proud graduate of the University of Florida, with a degree in Telecommunication News.
