The Players Centre Continues its 93rd Season with Cult-Classic “Little Shop of Horrors”

Arts & Culture

The Players Centre is proud to open the second show of its 93rd Season, the audience favorite, “Little Shop of Horrors” with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken, based on the film by Roger Corman and screenplay by Charles Griffith. Director/Choreographer/Costumer Brian Finnerty has assembled a cast of local favorites including Ariel Blue, Corey Woomert, Luke Manual McFatrich and a return to The Players stage for Casey Kelley playing Seymour. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Ian, the run needed to be pushed back a week, now opening Oct. 12 and running through Oct. 16 at Studio 1130 in The Crossings at Siesta Key (3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34239.) The box office has contacted those that had tickets on canceled dates, please give us a call at 941.365.2494 if you have not yet gotten to transfer your tickets to a new date. We apologize for the inconvenience, but The Players is happy to still be able to still produce this funny, poignant and inclusive version of the musical.
