Hygeia Spa and Fitness located at 3060 University Parkway, Sarasota. The new 1,250 square-foot boutique is a one-stop health and fitness facility. From cardio and strength training equipment to massages and facials. No membership or hidden fees and clients can enjoy a complimentary consultation and New Year specials. Hygeia Spa and Fitness founded by Marcy Yarborough, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Anthony August, NASM and Global Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Expert. Marcy has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida since 1998 and a certified personal trainer since 2001. In addition, she is nationally certified through National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Marcy became interested in massage therapy after receiving treatments due to a sports injury and a car accident. She was amazed by the results and wanted to learn
massage therapy to improve other people's well-being. Marcy feels she can relate to her clients from past injuries and from receiving prenatal massages for nine months of her pregnancy. Marcy specializes in working with spinal injuries, migraines, neck, shoulder, and back pain, sports injuries, arthritis, Fibromyalgia, prenatal, and much more. In 2021, she placed bronze in Best of SRQ local for Best Massage in SRQ Magazine.  Anthony August started his fitness journey in his young 20s with the realization that he needed to change his life. So, he began pursuing a healthier lifestyle and found an incredible passion for helping others live longer healthier lives. Over the years, he has worked with some of the most
amazing people all over the country. After 20 years in the fitness industry, he finally achieved his goal by opening Hygeia Spa and Fitness.
