The Players Centre is proud to announce the hiring of a brand-new Director of Education, Thayer Greenberg, for the education branch of the community theatre, The Players Studio. Greenberg is a passionate educator with an extensive background in theater education and arts programming. Greenberg is a graduate of Booker High School’s VPA theater program, holds a degree in Educational Arts Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Organizational Leadership. Greenberg has worked in a variety of educational and theater settings in Chicago and New York. Back in her hometown of Sarasota for the past four years Greenberg has served as the Middle and Upper School Theater Teacher and Director for the Out-of-Door Academy. With many years of experience, Greenberg has developed a reputation for inspiring and guiding students to reach their full potential in the performing arts. Greenberg is committed to creating safe and supportive learning environments where young artists can explore their creativity and develop their skills. Greenberg is excited to be stepping into this new role and looks forward to meeting The Players' families and to continue building a vibrant and thriving arts community at The Players Centre.
