The Players is closing its 93rd season with the stage adaptation of, The Graduate, a play adapted by Terry Johnson, based on the novel by Charles Webb and the Motion Picture Screenplay by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry by Special Arrangement with StudioCanal. Running August 17 through 17 at The Players theatre venue (3501 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL 34239) and directed by Elliott Raines, this paly is sure to grab your attention and never let it go.
Synopsis: Benjamin’s got excellent grades, very proud parents and, since he helped Mrs. Robinson with her zipper, a fine future behind him…A cult novel, a classic film, a quintessential hit of the 60s, now Benjamin’s disastrous sexual odyssey is brought vividly to life in this stage adaptation.
