Parrish Community Park Groundbreaking Set for August 11

Things To Do

The highly anticipated Parrish Community Park will take another step closer to reality as County leaders gather to break ground on Friday, August 11 at 10 a.m. The Manatee Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) recently approved $15.39 million in funding for the park—which will feature picnic shelters, a performance pavilion, shade structure, splash pad, playgrounds and other amenities. It is set to be built along the newly extended Ft. Hamer Road near the Parrish Community High School.  For more information about Manatee County Government, visit mymanatee.org or call (941) 748-4501.
