November 7 City of Venice General Election Voter Registration Deadline Approaching

Government

Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Ron Turner is reminding City of Venice residents that the deadline to register to vote in the November 7 City of Venice General Election is this Tuesday, October 10. “If you are a resident of the City of Venice and want to vote in the November 7 General Election, time is running out to register to vote,” Turner said. Registering to vote is quick and easy and can be done online at RegistertoVoteFlorida.gov. Voter registration applications may also be downloaded at SarasotaVotes.gov and mailed or delivered in person to one of our three elections offices in Sarasota, Venice or North Port. Turner also noted that the November 7 City of Venice General Election sample ballot is now available online. Voters can review their sample ballot by visiting SarasotaVotes.gov and clicking on the Sample Ballot icon. In addition, sample ballots will be mailed to City of Venice registered voter households that do not have a vote-by-mail request with our office. “There are two races on the November 7 City of Venice General Election ballot, City Council Seats 1 and 2,” Turner said. “I encourage City of Venice voters to take the time to learn more about the candidates in these races before casting their votes.” Turner reminds Sarasota County residents that only registered City of Venice voters are eligible to vote in the November 7, 2023 election.
