Thursday, October 19th at 6PM the Suncoast Again Network will host the 2nd Annual Masquerade Ball at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing. Suncoast Aging Network, a 501c3, is a senior support and resource organization providing grants, education, and referrals for things important to Manatee and Sarasota County Seniors. Suncoast Aging network helps the senior community through several initiatives. The first of those initiatives is by being advocates for seniors, service providers, and our community to address our seniors’ unmet needs. We also provide networking opportunities for persons and organizations involved in senior services. And their goal to provide seniors, caregivers, and senior professionals a comprehensive source of services, senior housing options, resources, and information working in tandem with our community. Chazsady Davis, Suncoast Aging Network Board of Directors President explained, “The Masquerade Ball is one of the many fundraisers that we hold throughout the year. We thrive on our fundraising efforts in order to keep the organization functioning as we are a volunteer only organization.” Owner SailorGirl Companies and platinum sponsor of the ball, Jeanine Johnson, a board member of Suncoast Aging Network remarked, “By supporting the Masquerade Ball, this allows us to contribute small grants in support of other local non-profit organizations, that provide valuable services to Sarasota and Manatee County seniors.” Johnson continues, “This will be a fun and glamorous night out with a blend of elegance and fun. Everyone will be dressed to the nines. Tickets include food, drinks (beer, wine, or seltzer and non alcoholic drinks), and entertainment. There will be great music to dance to and additional fun ways to win big!” Tickets are $60 and sold on Eventbrite. All proceeds go to Suncoast Aging Network.
