Friends of Betty J. Johnson Library Seek Donations

The Giving Coast

The Friends of Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Public Library seek donations of vintage, cultural, antique, and unique items for their upcoming December 9, Art, Crafts & Decor Holiday Sale. The sale of these items will help fund programs and activities for the library. Children, adults, and the community will benefit! If you have jewelry, paintings, handcrafted items, heirlooms, and home decor goods that you have been reluctant to let go of but no longer use, consider donating them to our event. Check your closets and look under your bed! And please ask your neighbors, friends, and family to do the same. Ellia Manners, Friends Bookstore Manager touts, “We expect a wholesome crowd of shoppers on Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. We need many more donations to offer shoppers plenty of modestly priced art, crafts and decor. All donations can be dropped off at the Friends Bookstore in the lobby of the Betty J. Johnson Library North Sarasota Public Library, located at 2801 Newtown Blvd. Sarasota, FL. 34234. The store’s hours are Monday- Friday from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm; Tuesdays from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am -12:00 pm.
