Butcher's Mark Expands in Sarasota

Business

Butcher’s Mark, a bold modern-day butcher shop brand founded in 2018 in University Park, is making it easier for the Sarasota community to shop for premium meats with a new retail storefront set to open at 3483 Clark Road in Sarasota on Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. Butcher’s Mark’s Clark Road grand opening celebration will feature flavorful giveaways, mouthwatering meat samples and a charity giveback for Sarasota’s Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary. Grand opening festivities will begin outside the new store on Nov. 10 at 9:30 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and meet and greet with two baby red tail lemurs from Big Cat Habitat. Butcher’s Mark will donate 10% of sales Nov 10 – 12 to the nonprofit animal sanctuary. Additionally, the first 25 customers to visit the new Butcher’s Mark on Clark Road on Nov. 10, 11 and 12 will receive a free bottle of Butcher’s Mark BBQ sauce and custom seasoning blend. No purchase necessary. Founded by seasoned restaurateur Charlie Haney, Butcher’s Mark boldly combines the traditional style of a New England butcher shop with a convenient, modernized retail experience. With a focus on high-quality meat and exceptional flavor, Butcher’s Mark offers a broad and carefully-sourced selection of traditional and specialty cuts of beef, chicken, pork, lamb, veal and more. The passionate team at Butcher’s Mark is dedicated to providing exceptional advice and straight-up delicious, fresh, top-quality and expertly-prepared cuts of meat that hit the mark each and every time. Even the name speaks to a commitment to quality and experience. Each cut of meat has to meet an insanely strict seal of approval known, fittingly, as the butcher’s mark. Butcher’s Mark’s always-fresh premium meat highlights include Snake River Farms American Wagyu beef, fresh Japanese A5 Kobe beef, premium Cheshire Pork, milk-fed veal, prime domestic lamb, all-natural air-chilled chicken, hand-made Italian sausage, gourmet burgers and all-beef Wagyu hot dogs. The store’s retail offerings also include Butcher’s Mark’s own line of flavorful seasonings, sauces and rubs, as well as a gourmet selection of cheeses, charcuterie, pastas and more. In addition to Sarasota, Butcher’s Mark has locations in University Park and Odessa, Fla.
