HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital earned an “A” safety grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national watchdog group that assigns letter grades to hospitals across the country. This is the 18th “A” grade the hospital has earned. The grades are based on more than 30 national performance measures including errors, accidents, injuries and infections, and what hospitals have in place to prevent harm. Grades are updated twice a year in the fall and spring.
