Mantra Fitness is Giving Back to Children in Need

The Giving Coast

Mantra Fitness, a premium fitness studio known for its “Pilates on steroids” is actively engaged in helping the local community by supplying gifts (needs, wants, clothing, shoes, toys, etc.) for local children through its Giving Trees in the Sarasota, Tampa, and Lakewood locations. Mantra Fitness has consistently organized donation-based events to raise funds for charitable causes. In the past raising over $5,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness and doing rides for the Maui fires. This shows their commitment to not only physical but also the well-being of their community. The presents collected are in partnership with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. “Last year I saw an angel tree at another retailer, and ALL of the 50 or so tags were on the tree the week before Christmas. It was SO sad,” said Sarah Metzler, General Manager at Mantra Fitness. “I really think it's important the placement of the trees, like at Mantra, so that those who are able to help can! Many of our members have older children, so it's so much fun for them to shop for children's toys. Our studio fills up with presents, bikes, scooters... it's really sweet.”
