Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation announces that Shana Meadows has joined the organization as Director of Finance and Operations. Meadows brings more than 25 years of financial management and operational oversight and will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures in finance, accounting, compliance administration and granting and gift processing. Before joining the Healthcare Foundation, Meadows most recently was the manager of the Finance Department at the Sarasota Police Department – City of Sarasota. Her career spans various sectors, encompassing private, non-profit and government organizations where she held positions as Chief Financial Officer, Controller, Senior Accountant and Business Office Administrator. Meadows earned her Master of Business Administration from Pittsburgh State University, Pittsburgh, Kan. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisonburg, Va.
