Lewis Marine Kicks Off Restoration For a Cause

The Giving Coast

In the parking lot of Lewis Marine Supply sits the shell of a 1975 18' SeaCraft center console. In the coming months, Lewis Marine technical staff, customers and key vendors will donate their time and products needed to bring the classic boat back to life. After the boat restoration, the package will be completed with a Suzuki outboard and an Atlantic Marine trailer, and raffled off. Proceeds will benefit Captains for Clean Water, with the winner announced at the 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. As part of the Lewis Marine Seacraft Tech Tour, each segment of restoration will be videotaped and available online. Content will be promoted through social media outlets, Lewis Marine Supply and customer web sites. Captains for Clean Water works to reverse decades of water mismanagement and protect it for future generations by focusing on Everglades restoration, water advocacy and the dangers of nutrient pollution. Its website is www.captainsforcleanwater.org. Contact Lewis Marine Supply, 220 SW 32nd St., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33315. 800-327-3792. sales@lewismarine.com; www.lewismarine.com.
