Barancik Foundation Awards Nearly $12 Million in Grants

The Board of Directors of Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation recently awarded $11.8 million in grants aimed at further improving the quality of education in Sarasota County’s public schools and preschools, expanding access to health care and the arts for underserved communities, supporting environmental education at important conservation sites on Sarasota Bay, and more. The grants were approved on February 9 at the Board’s first meeting of 2024.
