The School District of Manatee County is hosting two in-person hiring events in September. A variety of positions are available for job seekers with on-site interviews available. An Operations Hiring Event is being held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Wakeland Support Center, located at 1812 27th Street East in Bradenton. Available positions include food service workers, cafeteria managers, bus drivers, bus aides, custodians, electricians, HVAC technicians, maintenance workers and more. Starting pay for bus drivers is now $19.57 an hour, with paid CDL training. A Teacher and Paraprofessional Hiring Event is taking place on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Manatee Technical College - Main campus, located at 6305 State Road 70 East in Bradenton. Open positions include VPK teachers, Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers, ESE teachers, teacher aides, paraprofessionals and more.
