Wellen ParkTM is a master-planned community that is quickly becoming known as a culinary hotspot. This reputation will only be enhanced by the brand-new Wellen Park Wine Festival.

The Wellen Park Wine Festival is a two-day event planned for Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16, 2024. Taking place on the Great Lawn in Downtown Wellen and along Wellen Park Boulevard, the festival will be a celebration of respected winemakers and the culinary prowess of Wellen Park restaurateurs.

“We are thrilled to host our first-ever wine festival and plan to make it an annual event,” says Christine Masney, vice president of marketing for Wellen Park. “We are always looking for new exciting cultural opportunities we can bring to our residents and the public, and are sure this will be a big hit.”

There are two different ticket packages available for the Wellen Park Wine Festival. General Admission tickets are $85, and will gain you admission to the main Wine Festival Grand Tasting event on Saturday, November 16th from 1pm to 4pm. This ticketed outdoor event will feature live jazz from the Solis Hall stage, light bites prepared by some of Wellen Park’s favorite restaurants and samples of wine doled out by thirty carefully-selected vintners. For an additional $25, you can also attend an informative Wine Tasting 101 class from 11am to 12pm in Solis Hall to help you make the most of your experience.

For $250, you can get the Premium Experience package and kick off the festivities a day early. Premium Experience ticket holders are invited to attend an exclusive gourmet wine dinner and preview tasting on Friday, November 15, from 6pm to 8:30pm and will also gain early entry to the Grand Tasting event the next day. All Premium Experience and General Admission tickets come with a swag bag, souvenir wine glass and four food tickets for the festival’s food tents which will feature gourmet cuisine from Wellen Park eateries Acqua Pazza, The Banyan House, Oak & Stone and Villani & Co.

Limited seating will be available at Saturday’s Grand Tasting, but festival guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for the Great Lawn as well as a refillable water bottle. Whether you’re a wine novice or an established oenophile, the inaugural Wellen Park Wine Festival is certainly something to celebrate.
