Updates From the Child Protection Center

The Giving Coast

Like all of you, we are grieving for our community and the difficulties being faced by so many in the aftermath of Milton and Helene. For all who have been touched by these storms, please know that our hearts are with you. Below, we've compiled a list of resources for those in need as well as ideas of no or low cost ways to help our neighbors during this time. It is as a community that we will work together, heal, and rebuild. Damage at our Sarasota and North Port locations is still being evaluated, and while we wait with baited breath for updates and estimates for repairs, we recognize the immense good fortune of being able to report that our staff are unharmed and determined to clean up and dive back into services so our little survivors have the support and resources they need. Rain, shine, or flood- we refuse to let victims of child abuse suffer further and are committed to help them find healing and safety. We will not be deterred.

EVENT POSTPONED - As our community continues to recover from hurricane damages, we have decided to postpone the Celebrity Bartender Challenge. A date in the near future will be announced shortly.
