Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation Announces Hurricane Relief Community Match Campaign

The Giving Coast

The Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation (LWRCF) announces the launch of its Hurricane Relief Community Match Campaign. In difficult times such as these, LWRCF wants to be the philanthropic pillar of Lakewood Ranch to help nonprofits seeking grants to help those who experienced hurricane damage and loss to build back. LWRCF’s board of directors has placed $50,000 in a special hurricane relief fund and is asking the community to help match this amount. Every penny donated to this fund will be given in grants. Donors may go to www.LWRCF.org, click on the donate button, and complete the form. LWRCF hopes every resident and business in our community will step up and help the foundation help others. Nonprofit organizations who meet the 501c(3) requirements and are based in Lakewood Ranch may apply for a grant and should email info@LWRCF.org or call 941-208-6799 to receive a specific application for this grant opportunity. The vision of the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation is to use the power of giving to serve our community. Founded in 2000, LWRCF’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in Lakewood Ranch and nearby communities by responding to needs, granting funds, and building lasting relationships. Over the past 20+ years, LWRCF has given more than $1.53 million to 140 deserving nonprofits. For more information, visit www.LWRCF.org, email info@LWRCF.org, or call 941-208-6799.
