Sarasota County Schools has a district-wide Parent University taking place on Monday, November 4 at North Port High School (6400 W Price Blvd, North Port, FL 34291). The event will kick off at 4:00 PM with a Community Resource Fair featuring representatives from FEMA, local banks, JFCS, NAMI, and other community partners, offering disaster relief assistance. A light dinner will be provided at 5:00 PM, followed by district-led parent training at 6:00 PM on how to best support and enhance your child’s literacy at home.
