An Update from the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall

Things To Do

Thank you for your patience as we work through the process to reopen the Van Wezel by January 1, 2025. The physical Van Wezel Box Office building is temporarily closed. However, we are in the process of reopening soon, with phone services to be restored shortly. Ticket purchases remain available during this period through VanWezel.org. The Box Office has been contacting patrons in order of their scheduled show dates. Ticket holders can choose to receive a refund to their original payment method, opt for an online credit, or donate their ticket cost back to the Hall to support repair efforts. Inside the facility, key recovery efforts are progressing nicely. We advise the public to avoid our parking lot and grounds until power is restored. Standing water has been removed from the building. Power has been restored to most areas, a generator has been brought in to keep key systems like air conditioning running, while our transformer is being repaired. Roof repairs are ongoing, and electrical systems in areas that have experienced flooding are being addressed. Additionally, the orchestra pit lift requires replacement due to water damage, and we've placed an order on a new one which is due to arrive shortly. We can't wait to welcome you back to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in January 2025! Get ready for an exciting lineup, including Broadway sensations like Funny Girl, Les Misérables, Beetlejuice, and Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
