Help for Anna Maria Island

The Giving Coast

Dennis Frey, owner of a small apparel decorating business in Bradenton has had the privilege of serving customers on Anna Maria Island for over 20 years. As a way of giving back to the community that has supported his business, he is launched a fundraising initiative to benefit two local organizations: the Anna Maria Island Community Center and the Bradenton Beach Merchants Association. "What makes this fundraiser unique is that we are donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of our first 500 t-shirts and 100 hats. Each $25 shirt purchased results in a $25 donation to Anna Maria Island, and if we reach our goal of selling all 500 t-shirts and 100 hats, we will be able to donate $14,500—split equally between the two groups," he says. "The website has been live for about a week, and we've already sold around $2,000 worth of merchandise.
