Sarasota County Hires new Director of Human Resources

Mike McNichols has been selected as the county’s new Director of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and he’s expected to assume the role in late February. McNichols is joining the team ahead of Director Chris Louria’s retirement in April to ensure a smooth transition. McNichols has more than 12 years of human resources leadership experience. In addition, he has experience in workforce planning, employee relations, benefits, risk management, and data management.
